The Sandstrom brand was established in 1946 and has since become a recognized brand within a wide range of industries; agriculture, automotive, heavy equipment, aerospace and weapons. With Sandstrom has HAI added another best in class supplier that can supply low friction coating.

This type of coating is an excellent solution for places where high operating temperatures occur, infrequent lubrication, easy release is desired, or where operating pressure exceeds the carrying capacity of ordinary oils and greases. You therefore avoid maintenance through continuous lubrication, and at the same time this coating keeps your workpiece free of dirt and dust, whereas grease and oil, as we know it, collect everything.

Sandstrom LC-300

Lead and graphite free dry film lubricant coating with low layer thickness, corrosion protective and good chemical resistance. The coating has been developed to be able to withstand high frictional forces as well as a long service life at operating temperatures from -196 to 649 degrees. The LC-300 excels, unlike the HI-T650, where problems arise with high operating temperatures and where parts may be exposed to frequent disassembly and easy loosening of screws, nuts, PVC, etc.

Sandstrom HI-T650

Lead- and graphite-free dry film lubricant coating with extremely low layer thickness, corrosion protection and good chemical resistance. Unlike LC-300, HI-T650 can withstand extremely high frictional forces and has a long service life at high temperatures from 260 to 400 degrees. HI-T650 can also be applied with a layer thickness down to 5 µm. Together, the LC-300 and HI-T650 are an excellent solution to problems where lubrication is infrequent, where operating pressure exceeds the carrying capacity of ordinary oils and greases, where "clean operation" is desired (does not collect dirt and dust like grease and oil do) , and where a protective coating is necessary.
