Find out more about foil exhaust

We often experience a problem with foil being burned on where it is laser cut. Cleaning plates for foil residues is associated with an expense, which can be avoided by following the advice below:

• Use a type of foil intended for laser cutting.
• Use a pre-program where the foil is cut first.
• Temperature and speed are adjusted so that the foil does not burn.
• After laser cutting, check that the foil is not burnt on.

When bending workpieces, there must always be at least 1 mm of air so that the workpiece can be rinsed during the processes. If there is less than 1 mm, there is a risk that the stain cannot be rinsed out and will subsequently start to etch the workpiece.
