Vibration deburring is an effective treatment that is used when there are special requirements for the aluminum's corrosion resistance.
Vibration deburring is used to remove unevenness, sharp edges, burrs and reduce traces of other machining processes on the workpiece.
The process is carried out to give the item a nicer finish, where, among other things, corners are made more rounded and deburred. Deburring also helps to give the subsequent surface treatment a better durability.
Vibration deburring is a "rougher" grinding than other deburring methods. Here, a mechanical vibration occurs, where the items are polished and ground for, among other things, sharp edges using deburring media. The choice of deburring media and media size depends on the desired grinding effect and the final finish desired on the workpieces.
Abrasive media are typically plastic chips of varying sizes and shapes.
Typically, a coarse vibration deburring will leave stronger traces than a gentle deburring.
Vibration deburring of workpieces takes place in a batch process, where the workpieces are vibrated mechanically with the selected deburring medium. Vibration deburring is also called trovalization or drumming.
Blowing is an effective mechanical pre-treatment that is used when there are special requirements for the aluminum's structure or hardness. Blasting leaves a nice, uniform and matte surface at the same time, the treatment can to a certain extent remedy machining surfaces, grinding marks, tensile and heat streaks, which are visible on the raw material. This is due to changes in the material structure, which achieves the more uniform surface and with a matte appearance before further processing.
HAI offers several different blowing media with different roughness in the structure to give the uniform surface a broken structure.
We have different variants of blowing agents, where depending on the desired result, you can choose between; glass beads, precious corundum, stainless steel balls, stainless steel grit and mixed blasting agent.
We have a blowing agent that suits your needs regardless of the application or the physical characteristics of the component.
The treatment takes place in a closed cabin, where our operators blow fine grains of glass against the aluminum blanks. This achieves a uniform surface and a nice finish on the entire item.
Blowing is a pre-treatment process that can be equated with other mechanical pre-treatments such as grinding, brushing and polishing.
HAI can blow glass profiles up to 8 meters in a continuous plant and offers economically advantageous glass blowing in fully automatic plants.
