Mechanical brushing produces a surface structure that leaves fine streaks in the direction of brushing. The stripes vary according to the choice of brush.
Mechanical brushing is economically advantageous compared to manual brushing.
Brushing is possible on straight and curved surfaces and is typically used on decorative and technical articles where high roughness is desired.
Mechanical brushing removes the naturally built-up oxide layer and leaves a structured surface.
We have a sanding brush that fits your needs regardless of the application or the physical characteristics of the component. If you want a high gloss, pure alloys must be used.
E2 | Brushing | Increases shine and leaves a brushed look. Not all scratches and marks are removed. The coarseness of the brushing must be defined |
E8 | Grinding or polishing followed by chemical polishing | The process leaves a shiny and smooth surface, with the visible effect of previous grinding or polishing. |
Blowing is an effective mechanical pre-treatment that is used when there are special requirements for the aluminum's structure or hardness. Blasting leaves a nice, uniform and matte surface at the same time, the treatment can to a certain extent remedy machining surfaces, grinding marks, tensile and heat streaks, which are visible on the raw material. This is due to changes in the material structure, which achieves the more uniform surface and with a matte appearance before further processing.
HAI offers several different blowing media with different roughness in the structure to give the uniform surface a broken structure.
We have different variants of blowing agents, where depending on the desired result, you can choose between; glass beads, precious corundum, stainless steel balls, stainless steel grit and mixed blasting agent.
We have a blowing agent that suits your needs regardless of the application or the physical characteristics of the component.
The treatment takes place in a closed cabin, where our operators blow fine grains of glass against the aluminum blanks. This achieves a uniform surface and a nice finish on the entire item.
Blowing is a pre-treatment process that can be equated with other mechanical pre-treatments such as grinding, brushing and polishing.
HAI can blow glass profiles up to 8 meters in a continuous plant and offers economically advantageous glass blowing in fully automatic plants.
