We work with both acid and base in our pretreatments, and we can offer pickling, chemical polishing, deoxidation, electropolishing and a combination of these. HAI is the only company today that can supply aluminum electropolishing.

Chemical pretreatment is a gentler method compared to mechanical polishing, as it removes less material from the surface of the aluminum components. This means that the components retain their original shape and dimensions, while still achieving the desired surface finish.
