DGNB sustainability declaration
At HAI anodized according to standard ISO 7599, which complies with the requirements for a lead-, cadmium- and chromium (VI) oxide-free treatment process. Anodized aluminum surfaces are compatible with DGNB's requirements for sustainability in the construction industry if they comply with criterion ENV1.2 "Environmental risks for construction products". ENV1.2 places restrictions on the use of hazardous substances according to the CLP regulation and REACH.
DGNB stands for Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen and is a voluntary certification scheme within sustainable construction. The scheme gives equal weight to the environment, economy and social conditions. Green Building Council Denmark (DK-GBC) stands for the DGNB certification in Denmark.
