As soon as you have received the shipment, you must carry out the necessary checks to ascertain whether the shipment is in accordance with what was agreed according to the sales and delivery conditions of A/S HAI Horsens. The inspections must be assessed according to the latest edition of DIN 17611, on a cleaned consignment and in the shade in daylight.
The delivered shipment must at all times be stored and protected from external factors such as moisture, heat (e.g. due to direct sunlight), pressure and dents, soil and dust, including, without limitation, lime and cement. HAI recommends removing the packaging after delivery and to ensure good ventilation. We recommend the use of ventilated tarpaulin for longer intermediate storage before further processing.
When installing and assembling the shipment, it must be protected from damage. If products do not meet the necessary checks according to "Delivery", these must not be installed. As a result, installed non-conforming products do not warrant replacement of the elements. The prerequisite for any guarantee is that you and the client follow the treatment and maintenance regulations. This also includes professional final cleaning and periodic maintenance cleaning depending on the atmospheric load.
Building parts made of aluminum must not be exposed to impacts or scratches. Therefore, building parts made of aluminum must only be set up after masonry, stucco, plastering and paneling work has been completed, so that damage from, for example, lime and cement spillage on the surface is avoided.
Building materials that act alkaline, especially during the curing phase, will attack the oxide layer. The building materials must therefore be rinsed off with plenty of water.
If masonry and plastering work is only carried out after the aluminum parts have been installed, the aluminum must be covered with a plastic film. The foil is applied so that the pieces overlap each other. On window frames that need to be protected against acidic and alkaline solutions in particular, the foil is pulled from the bottom to the top to improve water drainage.
