We have therefore chosen to be certified according to ISO 14001, which deals with environmental management. We map and document all environmental impacts from the company - both internally and externally. With the environmental management system, we work effectively with improvements, and we fulfill our environmental approval in accordance with the Environmental Agency Act, Chapter 5. Our business partners within production, transport and sales are regularly assessed in terms of the environment.
As part of the work with our environmental footprint, we have chosen to be certified according to ISO 50001, which deals with energy management. ISO 50001 are compatible and harmonized with our other system standards ISO 9001 og ISO 14001. We have streamlined our energy consumption so that we are now one of the most energy efficient suppliers on the market. With ISO 50001 we evaluate and prioritize the implementation of new energy-efficient technologies and we improve our energy efficiency.
It is a part of HAIs strategic basis to work to reduce environmental impacts and to disseminate knowledge about the environmental benefits of using aluminum in general - and anodized aluminum in particular.
