Glass Blowing

Mechanical glass blowing
Glass blowing can be compared with other types of mechanical pre-treatment such as grinding, brushing and burnishing.

The term ’glass blowing’ is often used, even though different varieties of blowing agents are used such as noble corundum, glass pearls and plastic granulate.

HAI can glass blow profiles of up to 8 m in a continuous flow system and offers economically advantageous glass blowing in a fully-automated system.

Advantages/Disadvantages:

  • Uniform and decorative surface
  • Drawing and heat bands are masked
