Silk screen pint
Silk screen print can be applied to plane aluminium blanks When silk screen print is applied, two component colours are used, which are burnt onto the print in an oven xxx, i.e. all colour options are available.
Advantages:
- Perfect for decorations that are not subject to wear
- All Pantine colours can be chosen
- Elegant lustre of colour However the colour can be matted
Disadvantages:
- The colour will fade where there is repeated wear
- Non-resistant to chemicals
Photo anodisation
Photo anodisation can be applied to plane, open aluminium blanks. With photo anodisation the special colour is burned down into the open aluminium blank under pressure in an oven. After burning the blank is sealed, whereupon surplus colour is clean away.
Advantages:
- Resistant to abrasion, extreme weather and wind and chemicals
- All Pantine colours can be chosen
- Colour does not fade with time
