At HAI Horsens we also work with an environmental management system, which charts and records all impact that the company has made on the environment, both internally and externally.
The environmental management system satisfies the requirements of ISO 14 001 and environmental approval of the Environmental Management Act (Miljøstyrelsesloven), Chapter 5
As a major production company we are aware that we have a responsibility for the impact to which we expose our employees and the surrounding environment.
We have therefore, for example, increased the efficiency of our energy consumption so that we are now one of the most energy-efficient suppliers in the market. At the same time are collaborative partners are environmentally assessed with regards to production, transport and sales.
It is part of the company’s fundamentals to work towards the reduction of environmental impact and to communicate knowledge of the environmental benefits of using aluminium in general and anodised aluminium in particular.
ISO 14001
The international standard for environmental management (ISO 14001) is the predominant environmental management standard in the world.
The environmental management system has its starting point in the company, its processes and activities, sharing responsibility and competencies as well as describing everyday environmental tasks.
ISO 14001 stipulates requirements on the individual elements of the environmental management system that must be fulfilled in order to be certified.
