HAI Horsens is a company with roots going back to 1913.
Horsens automated factory
The automated produced Rikard Rohdemejer from Horsens sowed the seeds for the present company when at the beginning of the last century be started to nickel plate, chrome plate and silver plate the handles and hatches of his machines. The result of this surface treatment was to make the machines appear to be inviting and selling, even without regular cleaning.
Anodisation since 1950
The basis for the company of today came about when in 1949 Rikard Rohdemejer’s son, John Rohdemejer, began to become interested in the development of anodisation methods His work quickly progressed to usable results and in 1950 HAI started the actual production of anodisation.
More than 28 additions since 1978
From 1978 and until 2009 the son Finn Rohdemejer, the third generation of the family, was in charge of the management and operation of HAI. The interest in new surface treatments and improved production methods continued and the stable development resulted in no fewer than 28 additions to the company.
4. Fourth generation Jan Rohdemejer – takes over control
Today control has been taken over by Jan Rohdemejer, fourth generation of the family, while Finn Rohdemejer continues as Chairman of the Board of the company.
Jan Rohdemejer will continue the development of the company so that HAI will remain the preferred supplier of surface treatments for aluminium to customers from Denmark and overseas.
The new way of thinking of old Rohdemejer and sense of quality is still going strong.
